Yallah’s clinic and the church he has established are now meeting in the newly completed Chapel, they are making a significant impact on their community in the capital city of Monrovia. The children’s ministry center is in final stages of being completed as well and we are so very excited to see all this come to completion.

Yallah Kawala is a Christian counselor and pastor in Monrovia, Liberia. He received his training in theology and counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary in the U.S., then returned to his home country to establish By The Light Ministries. A victim of the psychological traumas of war himself, Yallah specializes in counseling others who have been affected by thirteen years of civil war and the outbreak of the ebola virus.
